Zara was imported from Belgium by myself and Glenn & Tami Stephenson of Camano Island Kennels as a 2 year old. She is from the Berlex-Hoeve kennel. Zara is from a very successful working litter that includes Zico - IPOIII, who took 3rd at the World Championships at the age of 2.5 years old (tied for first overall score, tie breaker is highest score in each area). Zico has already made a name for himself as a stud dog, producing a number of up and coming working dogs. Zara's other littermates are also proving themselves in the sport world, with ALL of them having earned their SchIII/IPOIII titles, both males and females. Zara is a socially and environmentally stable female, with no gun or noise shyness. She either drags me over to greet people, or ignores them, but doesn't show insecurities around them. When working she has a nice calm grip, without any munchiness and will fire up civily. Zara came to live with us when she was 3 years old and easily settled in, making a place for herself on Kelson's bed :-) We will continue to work with her and may eventually title her, she is currently being handled and loved by Kelson, who has officially "adopted" her.
Update: Zara has been retired from breeding and spayed.
