Jag had a rough start in life, but eventually found his place as a SAR partner with Mike F. Extreme drives, that never quit, Jag was certifed in area (wilderness), avalanche and disaster (state level) search. He was the first dog in CA to certify at the state level in diaster, and was pursuing certification with Mike as a National FEMA Disaster Canine Team when he died of chronic kidney failure (believed to be congenital). Jag never let the fact that he was ill slow him down, and worked and played right up until the end.
