No, she was not named after the shampoo :-) Nexxus means connection. Nexxus to E means a Connection to Enzo. Nexxus is a confident, social, dog with extreme drives and just a bit of a temper. Kamikazee entries, not equipment oriented. Although her drives are extreme in the work, she has an "off switch" and can come home and relax into an excellent house dog. Biddable, she wants to work with her handler. She loves her toys and her food, and has genetically full grips. Very nice structure and movement, with minimal white. After having lived with her for awhile, I've come to the conclusion she is also part mountain goat. She LOVES to climb up on things, the higher the better.

After having worked with Cali in herding for awhile, I decided I would really like to raise a pup with herding as the main focus. See how things turn out if I do herding first, instead of doing EVERYTHING else possible, then herding last. Nexxus became that pup. And so far she's doing very well, surpassing even Cali in terms of her herding skills (she drives much better). She's actively trialing at the intermediate level, but has been training at an advanced level for awhile and we will probably be skipping most of the intermediate titles to go straight into advanced. Nexxus is training at Action K9 (Terry Parrish) for herding, Schutzhund with North County Sch Club, and flyball with WeBeFlyin.
