"Inbreeding in Swine" by David S. Buchanan, Animal Science Department, Oklahoma State University.
Though this article focuses on the application of the concept in swine breeding, it presents an excellent, detailed description of the concept.

"Inbreeding: Its Meaning, Uses and Effects on Farm Animals" by Dale Vogt, Helen A. Swartz and John Massey Department of Animal Sciences, University of Missouri-Columbus.
An excellent and rather detailed coverage of inbreeding and many related concepts.

For reference purposes the following pedigree notations are listed with their inbreeding coefficient:
2,2 - 2,2 (brother/sister) - IC 0.25 (0.125 on each grandparent)
2,3 or 2-3 (many believe this is the best way to reproduce the dog being linebred on) - IC 0.0625
3,3 or 3-3 - IC 0.03125
Each of these is assuming there are no other dogs in the pedigree which are linebred on, which is generally not the case.
